Enamel sign 'Milka - Suchard'

Enameled advertising sign by Suchard for Milka Alpenmilch Schokolade, featuring the classic Alpine landscape and the iconic St. Bernard. This type belongs to the early Milka advertising, from before the introduction of the purple cow, and is truly something for collectors. The sign is not numbered or signed. It is made of sheet steel with enamel and is in beautiful, honest vintage condition with light signs of use and limited edge chips near the mounting holes, dating from the 1950s–1960s. The colors are still bright and the enamel is well preserved. A decorative and collectible piece of Swiss history, suitable for both interior decoration and collection expansion. Dimensions = 46cm high x 24cm wide x 2cm deep. 1357 grams.
